Less Pain. More Possibility. What Altwork Customers Report After 60 Days

The way you work matters. When spending hours at a computer becomes uncomfortable, it can affect more than your workday. It can change how you approach your tasks, how long you can work comfortably, and how you feel at the end of the day.

The Altwork Signature Station was engineered to rethink the traditional computer workstation, giving people the freedom to work in multiple positions, including a fully reclined, zero-gravity position.

But how do customers experience that difference?

To learn more, Altwork emailed past purchasers to survey customers who had owned their Altwork Signature Station for at least 60 days. The survey asked about their experience with computer-related pain before and after purchasing, as well as their likelihood of recommending the workstation to others.

The results offer an encouraging look at what respondents reported.

What Altwork Customers Reported

  • 95.7% of respondents who reported extreme or bad pain when working at a computer before purchasing reported a reduction in pain.

  • 82.9% of respondents who reported moderate pain before purchasing reported a reduction in pain.

  • 89.6% of respondents reported experiencing pain when working at a computer before purchasing an Altwork Station.

  • 80.2% of respondents who reported mild or worse pain before purchasing rated their likelihood of recommending Altwork at 7 or higher on a 10-point scale.

  • 78.7% reported that they would strongly recommend Altwork, according to a separate survey measure.

These findings reflect customers’ self-reported experiences, not clinical measurements. While individual results vary, the responses offer insight into how customers with different levels of computer-related discomfort describe their experience with the Altwork Station.

A Different Approach to Computer Comfort

Traditional computer workstations are largely designed around sitting upright at a desk. The Altwork Signature Station takes a different approach, allowing users to adjust their working position throughout the day, including transitioning into a fully reclined, zero-gravity position.

For respondents who experienced significant discomfort at a computer before purchasing, the survey results were particularly encouraging. Among those who described their previous pain as extreme or bad, 95.7% reported a reduction in pain.

The results were also positive among respondents who reported moderate pain before purchasing, with 82.9% reporting a reduction.

These findings suggest that improvements in computer comfort were reported across more than one level of pre-purchase discomfort. They also highlight an important consideration when choosing an ergonomic workstation: the relationship between your body and your working environment matters.

The survey does not establish that the Altwork Station caused these improvements, nor does it demonstrate a clinical treatment effect. Instead, it provides a view into the experiences reported by customers who chose a different way to work.

Designed for the Work You Want to Keep Doing

Comfort is about more than getting through a single work session. It can shape how you approach your workday and how sustainable your working routine feels over time.

For people who find conventional computer setups uncomfortable, having more flexibility in their working position may offer a welcome alternative.

The Altwork Signature Station brings together an integrated desk, monitor support, and an adjustable seating system designed to support computer work across multiple positions. Its zero-gravity configuration offers another way to approach a work session, without being limited to the conventional upright desk setup.

The goal is to rethink the conditions in which computer work happens, giving people more options for how they work rather than asking them to adapt to a single position.

Customer feedback offers another perspective on that experience. Among respondents who reported mild or worse pain at a computer before purchasing, 80.2% rated their likelihood of recommending Altwork at 7 or higher on a 10-point scale.

Separately, 78.7% said they would strongly recommend Altwork. These are distinct survey measures, but both provide insight into how respondents viewed their experience with the workstation.

What Customers Have to Say

Survey results tell part of the story. Customers' own words help put those numbers into perspective.

Here are a few comments shared by Altwork Station customers in the survey:

“It has been life changing!”

“It really is a useful and functional workstation that allows you to work more than 10 hours/day without any discomfort. I can attest to this because I have been doing it for more than 6 months. It is the best purchase I have ever made for the benefit of my body and my work.”

“It works! It's practically perfect in every way!”

“I LOVE this product. It has literally (and I mean that in the original definition of the word) made it possible for me to keep my job and do productive work.”

These are individual experiences, not guarantees of a particular outcome. But they illustrate what the workstation has meant to some customers who found traditional computer setups difficult to work with.

Find a Different Way to Work

The right workstation should support the work you want to do, not make the workday harder than it needs to be.

The  Altwork Signature Station was designed to give people more freedom in how they work, combining an adjustable working environment with the ability to transition into a zero-gravity position.
